Welcome to Laaira. Laaira is an active canine roleplay that allows many different types of animals from the Canidae family. The word limit here is 200 words per post. The rating for the site is PG-13.

S E T T I N G

Laaira is an large area with many different types of environments. Humans are alive in this roleplay, and they live all over Laaira, although some areas are abandoned by them while others are overrun by them.

The canines are broken up into three different packs and two gangs. There is the Jarosa pack, the Cambridge pack, and the Hun pack resides in Beijing. A gang can be found in North Denali, and another in South Denali. These two gangs do not get along, and there has been tension in the pack-lands. Loners inhabit the unclaimable and gang lands, even though straying into gang territory is at their own risk.

Gang auditions ended early due to finished auditions. I would like to give a big congratulations to Valitrix for winning the Northern Denali Gang with her character Valitrix. 	The Stork Department (2 sub-boards) This is the area where the puppies will be born. Both mom and dad must post in one thread and an admin will reply with the puppies stats. whatever admin posts the pups stats gets to decided how many are born and the genders as well as the way they look and personalities. 	Classified Ads (2 sub-boards) This is an area that helps you out alot!! What exactly is this? The name pretty much say it all. IF you are looking for a mate for your dog, or even just someone to have a fling with you can come here to look or post. The Packlands
	Jarosa (6 sub-boards) The Jarosa pack consists of the 'good' dogs. These dogs are almost completely pure in thought and action. This does not mean that they are 100% angelic, though, so don't push your luck with them. Their land consists of a waterfall, decidious and coniferous forests, a meadow, and cliffs where their camp is located. Alpha; Raimei Alphess; Moderator: Smudge	1	7
	Cambridge (6 sub-boards) The canines of Cambridge are neutral in their alliance. They mainly reside in the small town of Thereny and some of the near surrounding areas. Their living quaters is an old abandoned apartment building. When you first arrive you come up to a valley that the dogs here use as a welcoming section to the pack, but once you venture deeper inside you'll see the true beauty. Alpha; Alphess; Aaliyah. 	Beijing (6 sub-boards) The pack of Beijing is full of dark hearts and evil minds. They are ruled to show little mercy and a whole lot of cunning. The pack surrounds Omasia, an old rural area. The largest farm in that area is used as a base for their home. Mountains cover their border area with Cambridge and forest with Jasora. This is not a pack to be messed with and they will make sure of that. Emperor: Empress: Atila	2	7
Forever Unclaimable
	Hatley Hatley is among the one of the last old town areas left outside of Denali. There is a large castle like building on one end that faces the town that is sprawled out in front of it. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	1	8
	Dahlonega Dahlonega is a small city in Laaira that is know for its gold mines. There are some that tunnel down into the rocks and mountains, and other places where humans just shift through the water to find it. Dahlonega lies in the heart of the Mountains, and is rather country. There are farms and plenty of other places to venture around here. Moderator: Amaya	0	0
	Lancster Lancster is a rather busy city. It is always bustling full of life. Buildings here are tall and looming, and cars hardly ever watch out for the dogs. Animal control hardly ever comes to this area though, due to the constant traffic. Moderator: Amaya	3	9
	Ryn'lide Island Ryn'lide Island has a bridge that leads out to it form the main land. It only has a few log cabins that are only used as vacation houses, however the view is beautiful. Moderator: Amaya	0	0
	Ardtoe Ardtoe is a relatively small and remote fishing area, even though nowadays only a few people come out to fish. Sometimes children, even though they aren't really supposed to, play in the waters. Strays aren't very welcome here, but usually you will only receive a few hard stares. This area is full of fish, as long as you're quick enough to catch one. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
	Bechar A large pine forest can be found here. It is a beautiful area, especially with the surrounding mountains and lakes. Beware of hunting season in the spring and fall though- you don't want to be mistaken and shot at for game. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
	Cataratas Cataratas is a huge waterfall and a huge tourist attraction. Thousands of people visit this beautiful water structure each year. It is the busiest in summer and fall and the calmest during the winter and spring months. It isn't difficult to get inside of the tourist areas, where food and noise is plentiful. there are other areas only strays can get to as well. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
	Sleepy Hallow An eerie mist wraps around this place. A single road goes through here, which isn't much. The place itself is covered by thick forest and brush. Little human population even lives here, and if they do, they most likely live off the land. The thick evergreens guard them from most of the wind and rain that is brought here. Dark stories are wrapped around this place, tales of ghosts and ghouls fill it to the brim. Moderator: Amaya	0	0
	Sapphire Shores A beautiful coast spreads along Laaira. A glittering ocean of crystalline, sapphire waters, glittering in the gleams of sun. Thick clumps of wheat and yellow grasses flood the earth, cutting off as it reaches the sandy shores. The thick smell of the ocean is often blown in by gentle breezes. Trees cover the hills above the Sapphire Shores. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	1	6
	Marin Marin is the largest hill in Laaira, as it is almost as tall as the mountains in the packlands. Most of the hill is above the clouds, and if you can manage to even get this high, you will find the air is much thinner. On the lower bits more trees and plants can be found because there is more oxygen. If you can survive the hike then it will be way worth it, to look over everything in Laaira. 	Luena A thick field of orange and green grasses spreads throughout the area. It is full of all kinds of wildlife due to the fact its at the base of many large hills, which are more like mountains. They are thick with trees and brush and are also brimming with wildlife. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
	Lewiston The roaring of the waterfall and crashing of the waters in the river below attracts many to this territory. The cliffs are steep and dangerous, and the rocks can be slippery from the constant pounding. The area itself is thriving with lush grass and tall trees, which attracts a lot of wildlife. The bank of the river itself isn't difficult to get to, but it can be dangerous. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
Northern Denali
	Montreal The city of Montreal sits on an island, surrounded by water. It is influenced heavily by French speakers, having its official language being French. The city itself is large, and its population high. Hockey is also a very popular sport here. The city itself shows mixed views about the strays of Laaira. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	1	3
	Sapporo Another large city of North Denali. Sapporo has some Japanese influence, it is seen in the architecture of the buildings to most of the cuisine. It is also known for its Theater and other fine arts. Every winter, in February, a Snow Festival is held in their town square. The city is very mixed about strays, but most can find a few friendly hands full of scraps. Moderator: Amaya	0	0
	Cloverdale Cloverdale is a much smaller city than the two others. It sits right near the coast, which makes it great for the Fishing Industry. Transportation is often the use of the subway, the train, or even ferries to go across the rivers. The temperatures here rich rather high on the scale, but the humidity is often low. Strays here aren't that well liked, but its livable here with plenty of seafood places and butchers. Moderator: Amaya	0	0
	New Kensington A quaint little city that sits along the river, it is very close nit. The population only reaches into the thousands. The city maintains its own works, rather than having the entire county maintain them. They have their own police force, fire department. A library and an Opera house are also founded by the city. 	Gerdan Waste Company Glordan is North Denali's junk yard. Many old scraps of metal and debris litter the dirt floors of this area, but cars and sofas are also a common sight. The junkyard monitor doesn't usually pay attention to the strays, but if he sees you doing something you shouldn't, you better get out quick. Beware of where to stay as well, since things are constantly being moved and you could get crushed. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
Southern Denali
	Springerville Springerville is a serene little town far south of Klawock and not too far from Akiak. A large river divides the town into two separate parts- the right part is the shopping center while the left is the housing area. The housing area consists of a large park that is dog-friendly, and even comes with a trail. At the beginning is a jungle-gym and playhouse for the human children. 	Ywarde Train Station The folks at Yawrde don't usually mind having dogs around while they work- in fact, most of them enjoy the company and will give out scraps and attention freely. Just watch out for the trains that come hourly, and sometimes unexpectedly. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
	Klawock Klawok is an fairly old, run-down mobile home community. Some of the small houses have been shut down due to drug use inside, but strays can still get in if they're smart. Some stores can be found here, but they don't usually have anything good or interesting inside. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
	Wickenburg Wickenburg is an old city once thriving with life and almost as big as Springerville, but a huge and devastating earthquake quickly put an end to that. A fire started after a telephone poles collided, and devoured the entire city. Even after the fire stopped the humans never bothered to fix up the town, especially with the high amount of toxins in the air, and so now it remains, black with ash and crumbled. Trees inside of the town are black and bare. Some buildings managed to survive though, and food isn't necessarily scarce. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	1	4
	Akiak Akiak is Southern Denali's outdoor fun center. Each Fall a festival is held here, filled with food and excitement, and can be quite a fun experience for strays as long as they're careful. During other seasons, especially summer, this area turns into a camp-ground for humans, and many nights are filled with songs and laughter. Otherwise this is just open land with scattered trees and a river running nearby. Moderators: Amaya, Smudge	0	0
