« Isilme: Anarore »
The Story »
Rumors still spread: of the land called Isilme, birthplace of legend, where the horned, the winged, and the original equines lived in shared equanimity and peace. Where those who ruled commanded great power, and shaped the world to their whims. And some of it is true: Isilme's kings were mighty, her population varied and extravagant.
But they drove themselves to ruin.
The very strongest of the fair land's kings were demigods, true-blood descendants with power enough to challenge the very founders of their race, and like their fathers they were hateful. Under their rule a land already baptized with blood was drenched in it, and the wars they waged reshaped the earth, reformed alliances, challenged the faith of the most loyal. When they met and fell on the battlefield, the untamed magic in their bodies was unleashed. It changed Isilme's landscape forever, and all who survived the war were plunged into darkness.
With the awakening of the survivors dawns a new era, one plagued with uncertainty and strife. Will those who survived find peace and find a way to live as the legends claim, or are they doomed to fall just as their fathers did: grasping at power and choking on blood?
« The Objective
--> Isilme is a land divided not by alignment, but by species. The decision to be an Equine, Unicorn or Pegasus is the first of many you will make.
--> Each race has a different territory they reign across. The Equines live in an oasis fed by snowmelt. The Unicorns upon a white sand beach. And the Pegasus thrive within a secluded island.
But these lands are by no means guaranteed to stay theirs, and may be stolen and usurped just as anything else.
--> Each race is grouped into a single herd led by a Stallion and/or a Mare. Warriors are the next ranking of the herd, but they may be personally divided into standings as the leaders see fit. The rest of the herd is made up of stallions, mares and foals who work to populate the land, bring in new members and defend their honor.
--> You do not have to choose to be a character who participates in or even likes to fight. However, the herds and their past are based upon battle and revenge. Eternal enemies do the races remain- but the way they are led is entirely left up to the leaders.
If a moment of peace between two races will help eradicate the third, then let it be done. If a false peace so sneaky tactics can be set up, let it be done. No herd land is permanent, and no one is safe from being stolen or targeted.
--> As an added addition there exists minimal amounts of magic controlled by acts of Random Events. Equines may receive a miniature dragon as a pet, while Unicorns and Pegasus might be blessed with fragments of the elements that their original leaders possessed.
Odd coloration is also determined by which races breed together and a Random Event.
--> Though the Admin team sometimes cook up optional sitewide plots, Isilme goes where the members and their personal plots take her. We let the characters write the history.
--> The average droll of herd life will not occur in Isilme. The routine of meet and greet new members, take them home, and then maybe plot with them is only a small fraction of this realm. The freedom the leaders of the herds have and the drive to overtake each other keeps the races from a determined set of equality. You can be overthrown, you can be tossed from your herd land- if you fail.
--> Can you take the challenge of such fierce competition? Are you willing to find out? Then venture into Isilme, everyone is welcome.
